Welcome to Stout Ranch
Once the hunting grounds of the Ute Indians, the site of Stout Ranch was homesteaded in 1903 by the Dwire brothers. Its rich, fertile soil was used to grow vegetables to supply local towns. These lands that make up the Stout Ranch are a rare inverted River Plate at 8,000 ft. elevation.
Located 7 miles south of New Castle, Colorado and only 16 miles from Glenwood Springs. The Stout Ranch is easily accessible from Aspen, Eagle Vail, and Grand Junction airports.
